Listen first
We start with the loss you cannot afford, not with a product menu. A young family, a workshop, and a retired couple do not need the same shape of cover.

Guia Municipio was founded by advisers who were tired of watching neighbours buy policies they could not explain. The first desk was a single room with a kettle, a filing cabinet, and a rule that still stands: if we cannot say the exclusion out loud, we do not sell the contract.
The name means a municipal guide. We borrowed it because good insurance should feel like a person who knows the street, not a distant form. Over three decades the practice added health, motor, travel, and commercial lines, but the habit stayed local in spirit. Every holder has a named guide. Every claim has a diary.
We are not a bank and we are not a repair garage. We arrange and look after protection contracts, and we stand between the holder and the paperwork when something goes wrong. Sample figures on this website are illustrations. A personal quotation is a separate document with your name on it.
We start with the loss you cannot afford, not with a product menu. A young family, a workshop, and a retired couple do not need the same shape of cover.
Advice that matters is written. You receive a summary of limits, excess, waiting periods, and exclusions before any payment is taken.
The guide who placed the policy remains the person you write to when you notify a loss. We keep a dated diary until the file closes.
Renewals are compared with last year’s wording. If a benefit shrinks, you see it highlighted, not buried.
The first advice desk opens, focused on family life cover and plain-language summaries.
Home and motor lines join the practice, with a workshop network for honest repairs.
Health guidance is added so hospital letters and waiting periods are explained before treatment.
Travel and small-business cover arrive for people who work across seasons and borders.
The holder survey still ranks claim clarity as the reason people renew.
Most of our holders are families protecting income and a home, drivers who need a car back on the road, and owners of workshops, studios, cafés, and small clinics. We also guide people who travel for work or family and want medical and cancellation cover that matches the trip they are actually taking.
If a risk is outside what we can place honestly, we say so. We would rather introduce you to a specialist than stretch a policy until it snaps.
